577k vaccine doses given

About 577,200 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 487,000 people receiving their first dose and about 90,200 people getting their second dose.   Among those receiving the first dose of vaccines, about 330,400 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 156,600 people have received the BioNTech one.   For the second dose, about 83,100 people have received the Sinovac vaccine while about 7,100 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.   About 2,900 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.   Among them, about 2,600 people received the jab at eight community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 300 were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.   Around 6,600 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 5,200 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 1,400 people through private doctors and clinics.   For the BioNTech vaccine, about 5,200 people received their first dose at 21 CVCs and about 6,500 received their second dose.   The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is about 96%, while that of the BioNTech vaccine is about 95%.   As of 8pm, about 2,500 people had reserved their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 12,800 had reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech vaccine.   As of midnight, one person was sent to hospital.
