8.01m vaccine doses given

About 8,010,300 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 4,298,300 people receiving their first dose and around 3,712,000 getting their second dose.   Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 1,563,400 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 2,734,900 people got the BioNTech one.   For the second dose, about 1,372,700 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 2,339,300 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.   About 42,700 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.   Around 4,500 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 9,500 people received their second dose.   For the BioNTech vaccine, about 8,800 people received their first dose and around 19,800 people got their second dose.   The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 97%, while it is about 96% for the BioNTech one.   As of 8pm, about 1,400 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 6,100 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.   As of midnight, 10 people were sent to hospitals.
