DoJ issues email alert

The Department of Justice today appealed to the public to be alert to a fraudulent email purporting to be from the department.   The email, sent from the address, is presented as being from “Cheung Kwok-kwan” and contains a link to a suspected malicious file.   The department emphasised that it has no connection with the fraudulent email and has reported the case to Police for further investigation.   It reminded the public not to open any suspicious emails and advised anyone who has provided personal information to the sender or clicked the link in the email to contact Police.
